Baby at 11 weeks
By 11 weeks your baby has grown to the size of a small
lime. Your pregnancy is stronger and the risk of miscarriage is
greatly reduced.
Development
The baby's heart is functioning properly and pumping blood
through the umbilical cord to the area which is developing into
placenta. The middle and inner ears are completely developed.
Appearance
Your baby is mostly in the fetal position, with chin bent down
and knees curled up. The baby is very active. His head is large
compared to the body.
Movement
The baby is now making more definite movements. He is moving
the spine and also stretching his limbs. Also, he can open and
close his mouth.
