Be Aware Of Third Trimester Pregnancy Symptoms
When people think about pregnancy symptoms they most often
think about early pregnancy symptoms. These are the ones
that you begin to feel that could be the first signal that you
are actually pregnant. They include things like tender
breasts and morning sickness.
What many people do not know is that there are a number of
third trimester pregnancy symptoms as well. These are
generally quite different than the number of other possible
pregnancy symptoms you may have endured in the early months of
your pregnancy. This is because your body has changed
pretty dramatically over this time period and the symptoms
frequently reflect this.
Different Third Trimester Pregnancy
Symptoms
Aches and pains like a backache are considered to be third
trimester pregnancy symptoms. Your body has gained a bit
of weight over the previous six months. The hormone
levels in your body have also changed which can cause the bones
and joints in your body to relax. The combination of
these events can be a bit painful. Heating pads are often
used to relieve these pains. It is also suggested to stay
off of your feet during the third trimester to avoid
unnecessary hardship on your body.
Another common third trimester pregnancy symptom is
swelling. Many people who are in their third trimester of
pregnancy will notice that their hands and feet have become
swollen. Over the course of your pregnancy the size of
your uterus will continually grow in size. As this
happens it can cause a bit of pressure on some of your veins
which makes it harder for the blood to leave your legs.
Fluid retention is also a common issue that can cause
swelling.
Your expanding uterus is responsible for another third
trimester pregnancy symptom. If you notice that you are
always short of breath it is likely caused by the uterus
putting pressure on your diaphragm and lungs. To help
avoid this symptom remember to use good posture. Sleeping
on your side will also help ease the effects that you might
feel.
Many people during their third trimester of pregnancy will
notice that stretch marks might be noticeable. This can
even cause your skin to become itchy. Try using
moisturizers to ease the itchiness but keep in mind nothing can
really be done to stop stretch marks from forming. As
time passes the stretch marks will become less prominent on
your skin. The most common places to find these stretch
marks are along your abdomen, thighs, and even on your
breasts.
